Gloucestershire Wildfowling and Conservation Association was awarded a Wildlife Habitat Charitable Trust grant
In 2020 Gloucestershire Wildfowling and Conservation Association was awarded a Wildlife Habitat Charitable Trust grant of £23,913 for a habitat creation project at Poulton Court, adjacent to the river Severn.
The WHCT grant is to be used to fund the creation of new wetland ponds and scrapes for breeding and over wintering waders and waterfowl at Poulton Court.
A detailed design plan from the WWT will indicate when the various management prescriptions are to be applied and provide a monitoring program to gauge the success/failure of the project.
